Who says winter has to be ugly and snow is the only reason to photograph outside? I think these engagement photos in Kansas City still show a lot of beauty – especially in the couple. Bri and Miguel flew to Kansas City from Phoenix, Arizona to have their engagement portraits taken. They trusted me and the final images and decided to brave the high temps of 19 degrees to get these stunning images taken. Love to the two of you!
Don’t let the weather prevent you from getting beautiful images of your milestones. Whether outside or in-studio, I’d be honored to document you! Contact me at email@example.com to discuss your upcoming photography milestones.
Though we may be officially into winter (as the snow is melting outside my office window), it’s never too late to enjoy some beautiful fall colors. The Elliott family are dear to me and my husband and I’ve been photographing them since Bekah was pregnant with her first child. Though they live out of Kansas, it was a thrill to see them over the holidays and to photograph their family again.
Bekah and family did a great job of choosing clothing options. You can never go wrong with solids in warm fall tones. Jewel tones were very popular this past season, so these warm purples and maroons are perfect. But even when it’s not Fall, it’s important to try to follow the Elliott’s direction: solid colors, same color family, but each person in their own style!
It may be chilly (okay, cold!) outside now, but that doesn’t have to stop you from having beautiful family portraits. I can help you stylize your clothing options and either have you in studio (where it’s warm) or embrace Winter outside. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can set up your next family session!
Fall is one of my favorite times of year to photograph family. The colors change, the weather cools off, and family seems to gather closer. The Sanchez family is no exception when it comes to family togetherness; just look at the smiles on the kiddos and the love they all have for each other! I will admit, those smiles were thanks to the help of a wonderful grandma who stood behind me and was willing to act goofy with a few sticks and a tree branch. The things we do for our loved ones! Thank you Courtney and Zack for the opportunity to document your beautiful family!! Enjoy!
There’s still time to head outside and enjoy the fall colors this year! Email me at email@example.com and let’s get your family on the calendar!
Please help me welcome into the world, precious baby boy C! The year 2019 has continued to be an amazing year as the world keeps getting brighter with each new little angel to which they enter. Deanna and Eddie are blessed with their second boy and he is a doll! At seven days old, he’s already so strong and knows what he wants – keep up that spirit.
Congratulations, Deanna and Eddie! Thank you for letting me meet your little man and document his beauty!
Is 2019 your year to welcome your new beauty? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’d be in heaven to help document the angel in your life.
Somehow, my little newborn angel is six months old today! She has the best smile and it lights up my soul. She is learning how to kiss and I love that those kisses are open-mouthed at this point. She makes her Daddy and I melt. Love you, little Charlie G!
I love that I can document all the stages of my little love. Do you have a little one growing too quickly? Let’s document their stages together. Email me at email@example.com.
For Bryce and Caroline, 2019 may be the best start to any year of their lives as they welcomed into the world, their precious daughter. Baby E. was kind to her parents as she arrived without much difficulty and on her exact due date! And I also hear the sweet girl is already sleeping well during the night.
Congratulations, Bryce and Caroline and I’m so thankful I got to meet your little angel and to photograph her newborn pics!
Are you expecting your own little angel soon? Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can plan your session together.
The Holidays are here and the Phoenix weather has cooled off. It’s the perfect season to start family portraits!
Chris and Nicole have been friends of my husband and me for several years now. Chris graduated from KU, as did my husband, and Chris helped recruit my hubby out to Phoenix to work with him and Nicole. As soon as we moved here, we learned that Chris and Nicole had started dated and you can tell from the beginning how perfect they were for each other. Fast forward to now, and they have the cutest little boy who turns one in December!
I had the honor to document this sweet family this month and help them update their Christmas cards with adorable portraits!
Are you in need of updated family portraits? It’s not too late for the Holiday season! Email me at email@example.com and let’s get you scheduled!
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to donate a portrait session to help raise money for Cancer Support Community Arizona (CSCA). My husband is on the Board of Directors for this amazing organization and he gets to help the organization grow in support. This Spring, CSCA hosted a fundraiser called a Porch Party which provided BBQ, music, casino games, photo-booth, and a silent auction to name a few. It was thanks to this silent auction that I got to photograph Barb and her beautiful daughter!
Barb won my certificate as well as a nice custom dinner for her and her friends. I’m so thrilled she decided to use the certificate to document the sweet relationship she has with her daughter. During the session, she was telling me that she hasn’t had an updated portrait of her an her daughter in YEARS! Thank you for letting me be the one to change that. Barb, I hope you like your images below. Let me know which one you want to fulfill your certificate and if you want others to give as gifts or updated Christmas cards, let me know this as well!!!
When was the last time mom took a photo with her daughter(s) or son(s)? Dad? Let’s change that! Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can schedule a special session today!

This one is my favorite of you two!
It makes the heart happy to see multiple generations in one family portrait session. The relationship between grandparents and grandchildren is invaluable so to be able to document more than half a century of family is such an honor. The Wallace family has become dear friends over the past years and I’ve been blessed to celebrate with them as they’ve continued to add new grand-babies into the family. It may even be time to get them all together again as there are a couple new members missing!
Macy and Davis are college sweethearts who aren’t just sweethearts but have sweet hearts! These two have lived a part for over a year – Macy finishing college in Tennessee while Davis started his career in the golfing industry out here in Phoenix. But finally this spring, Macy made the move to the Valley of the Sun and the two got engaged!
I know they miss home (Tennessee) and the green foliage that is turning into fall, so when Macy told me she wanted her engagement session to feel like home, I knew exactly where to take them. I’ve enjoyed getting to know Macy over this year and so happy to photograph her and Davis as they start planning the rest of their lives together!
Share your love for this adorable couple! And email email@example.com to schedule your next photo session!
